Curriculum Vitæ
My name is Martin Amft. I was born in East Germany (GDR) in 1981. Until the age of 22 I lived and studied in this part of Germany. Then I spent two terms as an exchange student in Uppsala, where I moved again after I obtained my degree in physics in Jena.
Current employment
Since January 2011 I work as a Postdoc in the Division of Materials Theory at Uppsala University.

PhD studies
2006 - 2010: PhD-student in the Division of Materials Theory at Uppsala University. In October 2008 I defended my Licentiate Thesis and in December 2010 my PhD Thesis.
