Charis SIL	an excellent Unicode font with all characters that can be produced with the LingfilSemiticaUS keyboard layout (the font has been produced by SIL International)

Double-click on LingfilSemiticaUS.msi.
Follow the steps during the installation process.
The keyboard layout will be installed on your computer together with the on-screen keyboard, and the icon ("Sm" in read and white) that shows up the Windows task bar when LingfilSemiticaUS is active. The LingfilSemiticaSE is also installed with its icon ("Sm" in blue and yellow). In addition the font Charis SIL is automatically installed on your computer.

Click on the Keyman icon in the Windows task bar and choose "Configuration":

In "Options": Make sure that "Start when Windows starts" is checked.
In "Hotkeys": Assign "Shift-Ctrl-K" to Activate LingfilSemiticaUS keyboard layout.
In "Hotkeys": Assign "Shift-Ctrl-L" to Inactivate Keyman Desktop.
In "Languages": assign "LingfilSemiticaUS" to the Installed Language English (USA). This means that LingfilSemiticaUS is activated in all normal writing including transcription, but is inactivated when writing text with other scripts like Arabic or Hebrew.

In Word's configuration menu choose "Change keyboard automatically to match the language of the surrounding text".
